3D metal printing - here now . . .
It's tough to believe but we don't have to wait until 2035 to have 3D printed metal parts. Ideal for prototype and small runs of complex metal parts. At a certain level, this is interesting, as a precursor for the industrial landscape of the 2030's, 3D printing offers a flexibility that allows make-it-at-home concepts to be considered. Not so simple, yet, but, check it out here and image where this might be taking us.
